To us, making maple syrup is personal, but also communal. Maple syrup season marks a transition from winter to spring. From the time that trees are tapped until the last sap is collected, there is an incredible transformation in the woods. Snow melts, plants begin to emerge from the ground, trees bud, and migratory birds arrive. Being immersed in that transformation and sharing the experience with family and friends keeps us coming back year after year.
