Why Maple Syrup? Why Martin and Sons?
Maple syrup is one of nature’s sweet miracles that if produced correctly is amazingly flavorful and a delightful addition to any meal or event. The Martin family has been cooking maple syrup in Wisconsin for 4 generations. Karl grew up on a dairy farm in central Wisconsin. The highlight of spring was tapping the maple trees in the back forty and cooking maple syrup. That enthusiasm of being in the woods and boiling sap down to syrup over a wood fire is shared by Karen and our three sons, the fifth generation to carry on this tradition.
